Sarajevo is a fascinating city. While walking the narrow and busy streets of Baščaršija bazaar, you´ll feel that you have been teleported to Istambul, but walking just a few steps further from the heart of the city and the easternmost area, you´ll start to feel the charm and tranquillity of the mountains that surround it.

Sarajevo has a bit of everything for everyone. It has mountains and incredible nature, for nature lovers. It has the charm of the east , the strong coffee, the bustle of the bazaars, baklava, for those who yearn for more exotic experiences. It has the history for those who like to discover and understand the past in order to be better in the future. And beyond all this, it has its super friendly inhabitants, who carry on their faces and hearts kindness and genuineness. The language might be a problem, but they will still give their best to help you. Now that you’re already convinced to visit Sarajevo, do you want to discover a little more about the story of this city? Check out our Historical  Guide to Sarajevo.
